works for the manufacture of iron, but should lie fail so to
do, then and in that case, any entry or entries made under
the provisions of this act, shall be null and void to all in-
tents and purposes, as though they never had been made.

CHAPTER XCIX.
An Act for the benefit of Hardy, a man of color, of Blount county.
Be it enacted by the Generul Assembly of the State of Ten-
uessee, That the county or circuit court of Blount county,
be, and is hereby authorized to emancipate Hardy, former-
ly the slave of William Boyd, deceased, late of Blount
county, under the rules and regulations of the law as it ex-
isted before the passage of the act of 1831, chapter 102,
any law to the contrary notwithstanding.

CHAPTER C.
An Act todivorce Benoni Medley from his wife Milly.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Ten-
nessce, That the bonds of matrimony now existing be-
tween Benoni Medley and his wife Milly, of the county
of White, be, and the same are hereby, dissolved.
