CHAPTER XLIII.
AN ACT, to repeal part of an act psseSd 28th
day of July, 1820, to prevent the sacruice of
real estate, and for other'purposes.
SECTION 1. Be tt enacted by the General As-
sembly ofthe State of Tennessee,That so much of

demption rL. ty, sold at execution sale, be and the same is, here.

SEG. 2. Beit enacted, That all laws and parts
of.laws now in force in this State,which authorises
the redemption of slaves sold by execution or the
decree of a court of equity, are hereby repealed;
Not to chnrge Provided, nothing in this act contained, shall
the right of be so construed, as to affect, or in any mannee
parties   change, the rights of parties under sales here-
tofore made under the laws hereby repealed, but
such rights a r-e herehy secured.
SEo. 3. Be it enacted, That nothing contained
in this aet, shall operate on judgments heretofore
