ci the faid AlexanJer Gamble, decealed, and the other
friends of the laid minors, on the one part, and the faid
Robert Gamble, on the other-part,. are defirous and wil-
ling, that they fhould be enabled to complete and carry in-
to effea faidcontra&, therefore,
BE it enacted by the General 4fenblyoffAt State ef Tens
hefee, That it fhall and may be tawful for the court of
the county, wherein the faid lands may be fifuate, or any part
of them, to appoint three or more commiffioners, who or a
majority of them, fhall afcertain and reduce to writing the
laid contra&q, and make return thereof to the clerk of faid
court, who (hall file and record the fame in his office;
whereupon it fhaila. nd may be lawft l for the guardian or
guardians jointly, if more than onegoat dia, of the faid
infants to make-and execute, and alfo to receive any deea
or deeds of conveyance, - for the.conveyance or transfer of
faid lands, or any part thereof, and to do, or caule to be
done, all and every thing relative to faid contraa, for the
carrying thefame intodffie  according to the true mtan-
iag thereof.

ty be divided ,by a line which ihall commence in the Ken-
-tucky line, thirteen miles welk of the meri.'ian of Clarkfville,
aid run fouth to the (outhern bouidary o this fate ; and
all the territory wef of the taid line be confituted a fepa-
rate.and ditinta county .called. and diftingufthcd by 40
lams of .Stewart.
