CHAPTER CLXXXVII.
AN ACT to repeal an act of the General' Assembly or
1848--'9, Chapter 93, entitled an act to amend an act,
passed at the last Session of the General Assembly enli-
tied An Act to provide-for the apprehension of runaway
slaves in the Great Dismal Swamp and for other purpo.
ses.
See. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assenbly of the State
of North Carolina, and it is hereby enacted by the authority of
the same, That the act of the General Assembly of the Ses-
sion of 1S48-'9, Chapter 93, entitled an act to amend on act,
passed at the last Session of the General Assembly entitled
an act to provide for the apprehension of runaway slaves in
the Great Dismal Swamp, he, and the same is hereby re-
pealed, so far as the same relates to the citizens and residents
of the counties of Beautort and Hyde.
Sc... 2. Be it firther enacted, That this act shall be in
force from and after its ratification.
[Ratified 28th January, 1851.]
