sMe, That any person or persons who shall steal, or shall
by violence, seduction or any other means, either take or
convey away any save or slaves, the property of another
or others, with an intention to sell or dispose of to another
or others, or to appropriate to his or their own use such slavo
or slaves, and he thereof legally convicted, shall be adjudg-
ed guilty of folony, and sliaill suffer deatth without benefit of
Clergy.
