SEc. 2. All acts and parts of acts, passed before the pre' Acts repeal'd,
sent session of this General Assembly, the subjects whereof with excep-
are revised and re-enacted in the Revised Statutes, or which t1on  s.
are repugnant to the provisions therein contained, and all
the statutes of England or Great Britain heretofore in use
in this State, are hereby declared to be repealed, and of no
force and effect from and after the first day of January next,
with the exceptions and limitations hereafter mentioned.
SEc. 3. The repeal of the acts and statutes mentioned
in the next preceding section, shall not affect any act done or epfet to
any right accruing or accrued or established, or any suit or
proceedings had or commenced in any case before the time
