Be it enacted by the General .Aissembly of the State of North
Carolina, and it is hereby ecnacted by the authority of the samne,
That the above recited act be, and the same is hereby repeled.

CHAPTER XLV

Be it enacted by the Gencral *fAssemnbly of the State of' Xorth
Mlanner in  Carolina, and it is hercby enacted by the authority of the same,

ubeilit.   arming the militia of the United States, as the quota of his
'      State, including such number of the ailns now deposited at Fort
Johnson as-will be sullicient to complete the distribution herein
directed, the residue remaining therein, and not subject to dis-
tribution, shall be distributed in the following manner, that is to
say: to each of the counties of 'Granville, Halifax, Edgecoemb,
Craven, New Hanover, Cumberland and Stokes, one hundred
and sixty stand; to the counties of Bertie, Northampton, Pitt,
leanifort, Sampson. Duplin, Onslow, Wayne, Johnston. Ruther-
fard, Burke, Lincoln, Mecklenburg and Wake, one hundred and
thirty standt of arms each; to the counties of Currituck, Camden,
Pasqtotank, Perquimions, Chowan, Gates, Hertford, Washing-
ton, T'yrrell, lvde, Martin, Carteret, Jones. Brunswick, Coluni-
tius, BIladen, Rtobeson, Lenoir, Greene, Nash, Franklin and
Wairen, eighty five stand of arms each; to tile remaining coun-
ties of the State, sixty live stand of arms each.
