land in the Cherokee Purchase, reserVed ol r the filture disposition oithe Legislature.
Be it enacted by the General Assenbly of the State qf.A'orth-Caro-
lina, and it is hereby enucced by the authority Of the same; That 'haiounis
Love, of -laywood county, administrator of Robert Love, jr. dec'd,
be, and lie is hereby authorised and empowered to remove off, or
otherwise dispose of, fot tie henefit of the estate of his iitestate, a
cetnin log biildingi., crected by said Robert Love in his lifetiine,on
tihe loiur hundred nWies of public hild in the Chierokee Purchase, re-
erved by law for the future disposition of the Legislaturc ; any law
to the contiray notwithstanding.

An Act to amend an act, passcd in the ycAr'1812, entitled An act directing the time
:ud manner of appuintingj Oversecrs of' Ioads in ichnmond county.
Be it emtacted by the General .Issembtly of the State if .Nlh-Caro-
lina, and it is herehy cuacted by the authorit!U of the same, That in fIa-
ture, all oversrs of roads to be appoinlted by the conity court of
said contilty, shall be appoiited at the filst tt'lrm of said court. which
shall happei after the liest d y of April in each and everyyear ; and
all other uisiness , reintiec to' roads inl any respect withili the said
county shall ihe traisacted at the Naid te in: Provided, that ntothilng
herein conitainied shall be contlrue d to afect the a ppoiitmtenit of the
present overseers inl shid county, but they shall severally hold and
exercise the appointment id overseers until the said termiof the coun-
ty court which sliall happen alter the first (lay of April next: .ind
provided firt1her that nothinlg hierein contained sha)1 allict the trial
or prosecutioti of ally itl iciletil against delinquent ovorsecrs: Pro-

gulate the patrol of lichmond coity, anid or utlier pirposes.
Be it enacted by the General Issembly of the State of Noruth-Caro-
Tina, 41ed it is hereby enacted by the authority of the smime, That the
above recited act, Ientitled 1 An act to tegihile the patrol of Rich-
Inond county, be, and the same is hereby repealed and .made void.
II. And be it further enaded, That it shall be the ditty of cach and
every captain of a militia com pany in the county of Richmond, at
their musters respectively, which 'may be held after the- first day oi
Febiuary next. and at evei'y company muster thiereafter, to appoint
five ; espectable recholders belonging to thei iespectiVe companies.
