SEc. 2. Be itfiar/ef enacted, That this act shall
not affect the right of creditors ; and that the
said James N. Harper and his representatives
shall be at all times liable or the suiport and
maintenoice of the said negro Loyd, so as to
prevent him Prom. ever becoming a public charge.
