CHAPTER CCCLIV.
R1ESOLUTION in relation tomour representatives in Con-
gress.
SECTION 1. Resolved, by the Legislature. of the
State of .Mississippi, That the bold and manly stand
taken by our immediate Repr esentatives in Con-
gress, in the recent stormy conflict in the organiza-
tion of the Lower House of the National Legisla-
ture.  Their patriotic   struggle  against the
counter-current of party, their noble sacrifice
of party predilections, on   the altar of the
whole country, in the support of the Hon. Mr.
Smith of the opposition. Their devoted fidelity
to the honor and interests of their constituency,
have entitled them to the warm and cordial ap-
proval of the people of the entire State.
Approved, Feb. 10, 1860.
CHAPTER      CCCLV.
AN ACT to incorporate the town of Bonner in Calhoun
county.
rn      Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State
Aug~s.  of AMiesiasippi, That the town of Bonner, in the
county of Calhoun,,be and the same is hereby in-
zorporated, and that the limits of said town shall
be as follows, beginning one pole north-west, from
the north-west corner of Bryant's and Powell's
store-house in said county: running thence north
eighty poles to a stake to be set up, which shall
be the place of beginning, in order to define the
boundaries of said town : thence west to a stake
eighty poles to a stake to be set up : thence one
hundred and sixty poles to a stake to be set up :
thence east one hundred and sixty pols to a stake
to be set up: 4hence north one hundred and sixty
poles to a stake to be set up : thence west eighty
poles to the place of beginning. The above terri-
tory as described shall be ascertained by a survey
