corporation, which revenue, when collected by the
proper officers, shall be paid into the city treasury
for the use and benofit of said city: Provided, how-
ever, That two-thirds of the money arising from
the tnxes on the real and personal property, within
said corporation liable to State taxes, when col.
lected shall be, by the Board of Mayor and Alder-
men, applied.annually to the improvement, repairs,
and the keeping in good order the roads, streets,
and bridges within said corporation.
So. 14. Be it further enacted, That all the dif-
foront acts heretofore passed, having in any way  apefal of
any relation to the city of Shieldaborough, spo- rume set.
cially an act entitled anl act to establish a common
school system in the town of Shieldsborough, in
the county of Hancock. approved February 5th,
1852, and an act ainendatory thereto, approved
March 2d, 185-1, be and the same are hereby re-
pealed: Provided, hocever, That the monies now
in the treasury of the city of Slildshorough, aris-
ing from the provisions of the acts her-einbefore
mentioned, belonging to the school fund of said
city, or due to Said find, when collected, shall ho
applied by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen of
the city of Shieldshorough to the maintenance of
the schools in said city, and the said Board are
hereby fully authorized to collect whatever sums
may now be de by any person or persons to said
school funds, either by suit or otherwise, and to
apply the same to the purposes aforesaid, when col-
lected.
Ssc. 15. Be it further enacted, That this act be
in force from and after its passage.

State of Mississippi, The following sums be al-
lowed and paid out of any money in the treasury
