SECTION 1. Be it enaied by ye Legislaturf of 14c
State of .Afisissipi .That N. M. Treseyant when
he shall have been duly qualified as the guardian of
Mary Blnt Tucker and Willie Tucker, by the pro-
bate court of DeSoto county,. be, and he is hereby
authorized to sell, in such manner and upon such
terms and conditions as .the said court may pre-
scribe, all or any part of the slaves aid other per-
sonal property of said Mary Blunt Tueker and
Willie Tucker.
SEc. 2. Be it further enacted, That this act
shall take effect and be in force from and after its
passage.

CHAPTER 114.
AN ACT to amend an act reilaing the fees of cetain odicers therein named,
7proved Februnay 10, 1844, so far as the ame relates to the county of
SECTIoN 1. Be it enacted by the Legislature of the
State of Misirsippi, That so much of the above re-
cited act as reduces the fees of sheriffs, clerks, pro-
bate judges, members of the board 'of county po-
lice, Justices of the peace and constables, in and for
the county of Yazoo, be repealed, and that the afore-
said officers in the said county, be entitled to the same
fees that were authorized by law before the passage
of said act; Provided, that no greater fees than are
allowed by law shall be received for the collection
of taxes, and doing other State business, for the
compensation of which the State may be chargable.
SEc. 2. Be it further enacted, That this act take effect
and be in force from and after its passage.
