Ainy1, said slave without trial in any court; SECTION 1. le it enacted by the lAgislature of the State of .1lisxsisippi, That the State pay to the said Aaron P. Cunningham one-lialf' of the value of said slave, to he ascertainedoultissessed by William Ray, Aaron W. Norman and William 13. Brent; and that the auditor of' public, acomnits 1.e. antdis hereby authorized and reqtired to issute his war- rant oi the trea :urer. payable to said Cunningham, for one-half the valite of said slave, to be ascertain- ed and a Alessed a4 athiresaid, wlic:,ever the said Wiiiu Itav.
