ferry shall betablished on said Yaoo river, within
five miles below or two miles above the ferry estab-
lished by this act, and all laws conflicting herewith
are hbreby repealed.
SEc. 4. Be itfurther enacted, That the privileges
herein granted may hereafter be repealed, at the will
of the Legislature.

CHAPTER 290.
AN ACT to authorize the Guardians of James McCaleb and Ann
C. McCaleb to sell the property of said wards.
SECTION  1. Be it enacted by the Legislature of
the State of Mississippi, That the guardian of Jas.
NcCaleb and Ann C. McCaleb, appointed by the
Probate Court of the county of Claiborne, be and
he hereby is authorized to sell, in such manner and
upon such terms and conditions as the said court
may prescribe, all or any part of the slaves and
other personal property of said wards.
SEC. 2. Be it jurther enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
Approved January 12, 1854.
