tice shall contain a list of subordinate patrols, for
which service in each case the sheriff shall be enti-
tied to receive a compensation fee of fifty cents.
SEa. 7. Be it further enacted, That any captain
of patrols who shall fail to discharge his duty, as
required by the provisions of this act, in patroling
or making returns, as required by this act, without
making good and sufficient excuse, which shall be
determined by the Board of Police, shall be subject
to pay a fine of five dollars; and any subordinate-
patrol who shall fail to obey the summons of his
captain, for every such failure he shall be subject to
a fine of five dollars, which may ho sued on in the
name of the President of the Board of Police, be-
fore any Justice of the Peace in the beat in which
the person making failure may live-the money,
when collected, to be paid over to the County
Treasurer, and shall constitute a portion of the pa-
trol fuind. If the captain shall fail to discharge his
duty under this act, suit shall be brought against
him, by the President of the Board of Police. If a
private shall fail to discharge ^his duty, under the
provisions of this act, then the captain of said sub-
ordinate shall bring suit against said delinquent
subordinate.
SEC. S. .Be it fur/Ahr enacted, That all acts in con-
fliet with the provis'ons of this act be, and the same
are hereby repealed.

the town of Abordeen, and the several acts amendatory therero.
LiIbs.   SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Legislature of
the State of Mississippi, That all that tract of
country contained within the following boundaries,
shall hereafter be designated by the name of the
City of Aberdeen, to-wit: sections twenty-six andl
twenty-seven, also sections thirty-four and thirty-
five, all in township fourteen, range seven east, and
including that part of the Tombigbee river to its
eastern bank, which lays east o. sections thirty-five
