county of Jones, shall be held as follows, to-wit: on
the -second Mondays in April, July, October and
January, in each and every year, and may continue
two judicial days at each term thereof, if busines so
long require, and no longer.
SEc. 2. And be it further enacted, That all acts
and parts of acts coming within the meaning and
purview of this act, be and the same is hereby re-
pealed; and that this act take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.

CHAPTER 103.
AN ACT to extend the time of holding the Probate Court of Noxt-
bee county.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Legislature of
the State of Mississippi; That hereafter, the Probate
Court of Noxubee county may be held for the term
of one week in each month, commencing at the
time now prescribed by law, if the business re-
quires it.
SEC. 2. Be it further enacted, That all laws con-
flicting with the provisions of this act be, and the
same are hereby repealed.
SEc. 3. And be it further enacted, That this act
shall take effect and be in force from and after its
passage.

CHAPTER 104.
AN ACT to provide for the erection, repair and preservation of
levees on the Mississippi river, in the county of Issaquena.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Legislature of
the State of Mississippi, That for the purpose of
Levee establishing a general and equitable system of levee-
i  .is- ing and repairing the levees on the Mississippi
river, in the county of Issaquena, it shall be the duty
of the Board of Police in said county, immediately
after the passage of this act, to appoint five or more
levee commissioners, or inspectors, who are free-
holders and residents of said county, to serve for
the term of two years froh the time of said appoint-
