CHAPTER 20.
AN ACT making certain appropriations therein named.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Legislature of
the State of Mississippi, That the following sums be
allowed and paid out of any money in the treasury,
not otherwise appropriated, viz:
W P Bry-  Article 1. T( W. P. Bryant, no-ent of the State
ant.    of Mississippi, appointed to guard and protect the
State lands, the sum of one hundred and eleven
dollars. ($111)
ChasW   Art. 2. To Charles W. Moody, former clerk of
Moody.  the circuit court of Clarke county, for his claim
against the State for transcript furnished George
Wood, district attorney for the fourth judicial district,
at his request, in a case pending in- the circuit court
of said county, wherein Albert G. Brown, Governor,
&c., was plaintiff, and Jno. J. McRae, John McLeod,
and John Watts, jr., were defendants, and also tran-
script of the above case furnished Jos. W. Matthews,
Governor, &c., at the request of George W. Wood,
district attorney, and a copy of bond furnished said
district attorney, thirty-eight dollars and ninety-four
cents. ($38 94)
Chas W  .Art. 3. To Charles W. Moody, former clerk of the
Moody.  circuit court of Clarke county, for detailed fee bill
rendered in a case pending and dismissed at the costs
of plaintiff in the circuit court of Clarke county,
wherein Albert.G. Brown, Governor of the State of
Mississippi, was plaintiff, and Alexander 'rotter, &c.,
defendant, fourteen dollars and five and one-half
cents. ($14 05a)
MM Bled   Art. 4. To M. M. Bledsoe, for assisting and bring-
soe.    ing from Memphis, Tennessee, to Holly Springs,
Mississippi, J. N. Bets, charged with,and found guilty
of larceny at the July term, 1819, of the circuit court
of Marshall county, thirty-three dollars. ($33)
J1 MR  Art. 5. To J. M. R. McCarroll, sheriff of Marshall
McCarrol. county, for carrying from Holly Springs to Charles.
ton, Mississippi, two persons, under an attachment in
the cas'e of the State against Joshua Peppers, charged
as accessary, and acquitted, twenty-two dollars. ($22)
