forty-six: Provided, however, That the sureties of
said sheriff give their assent in writing, to said de-

SEc. 2. Be it further enacted, That this act shall
take effect and be in force from and after its pas-
sage; and that all acts or parts of acts conflicting
with the provisions of this act be, and the same are
hereby repealed.

CHAPTER 122.
AN ACT to authorize Hugh R. Miller, of Pontotoc county, to remove
to Hardeman county, Tennessee, certain property of his wards,
Mary V., Phillip D., Beverly M., and John B. Lacey.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Legislature of the
State of Mississippi, That Hugh R. Miller, of Pon-
totoc county be, and he is hereby authorized to
remove to Hardeman county, Tennessee, and to
deliver to William Ramsey and Pitzer Miller, or
either of them, executors of John B. Lacey, deceas-
ed, certain negro slaves hereinafter named, as the
property of his wards, Mary V., Phillip D., Beverly
M., and John B. Lacey, to-wit: Edy and her two
children, Mary, Charlotte, Henry, Sano, Jerry, and
Billy; Provided, That before the removal of said
property, the said H. R. Miller shall, as guardian
of said minors, settle his accounts to the satisfaction
