be implejaded, in any suit or suits,. either at law or its
equity..

CHAPTER 158.
AN ACT concerning the-executors of the last.will and testanient
of William C. Conner, deceased.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Legistture of the
State of .Vissisippi; That on application by the ex-
ecutors of the last will and testament of William 0.
Connor, late of the county qf Adams and State of
Mississippi, deceased, by petition to the Probate Court
of Adams coujity, and on a satisfactory showing be-
ing.made to said Court that it would be for the inter-
est and benefit of those concerned, the said court may,
by its order,. authorize and permit the said executors
to invest any money or moneys in the hands of the
said executbrs, belonging to the said estate, in the
purchase of a tract or tracts of land in the State of
Louisiana, for the use and benefit of the person or
persons entitled to saidnmoneys under said last will
and testament; and,.alsoi to remove any slave or
slaves in the possession of said executors, belonging
to said estate, into Louisiana, to be employed on said
land, or otherwise : Provided, in the opinion ofsaid
court, said order can be made consistent with the
provisions.of the said last will and testament, and.
with the rights of all persons interested in said es.
tate, either as heirs,.devIsees, legatees of creditors.
