SEC. 3. Be it furt/Vcr enacted, That this act shall
not affect the salaries of any of the officers of this
State who are now in otlice, but shall apply to all
who may hereafter be appointed or elected, and
that all laws and parts of laws contrary to, or con-
flicting with the provisions of this act, be, and the
same are hereby repealed ; and that this act be in
force and take effect from and after its passage.

SECTION 1. Be it ezocerd by the Legislature of the
Slate qf Mississippi, That the officers hereinafter
named, shall hereafter receive for the services here-
inafter specified, the following fees, and no more,
to-wit:
