quired so to do, shall receive two dollars; and six
cents per mile for travelling to and going from the
State Capitol, estimating the distance by the usually
travelled route; but no payment shall be made by
the Treasurer of the State on account of services
rendered by any of the officers of the State mention-
ed in the fourth, fifth and sixth sections of this act,
until they shall have been duly certified and audited
according to law.
Talis ju-  SEC. 7. Be it further enacted, That if any talisman
juror shall be detained more than one day in any
one cause, such talisman shall be entitled to the same
pay and mileage as is prescribed by this act for ju-
rors belonging to the original venire.
SEC. 8. And be it flir/icr enacted, That all laws
and parts of laws contrary to, or conflicting with,
the provisions of this act be, and the same are here-
by, repealed; and that this act take effect and be in
force from and after its passage.

lawful for any Inn keeper or Tavern keeper, or the
keeper of any restau rat, or petit grocery, being a free
white person, to sell by retail, in any quantity, vin-
