Whereas, an act to amend an act to provide vrcane.
for the erection of levees in the county of
Washington, was passed by this legislature at
the session of 1838, and approved by the gov-
ernor on the 16th February, 1838 : And where-
as, said law was not published with the acts of
1838: Therefore,
Resolved, by the Logislciture of c the State oft'oiIntoit
Mississippi, That the above recited act be pub-
lished with the laws passed at the present ses-
sion ; and that the public printer be instructed
forthwith to publish said act, together with this
preamble and resolution, in the Mississippian.
