CHAPTER 145.
AN ACT to inc-orporate the City of Vicksburg.
LnmisInd SECTION 1. TS it CHGCted, by the Legislature of
thC ,(tef J.sisip,-., That, the imits and.
boundaries of the city of Vickburg, shall here-
ater be as follows, to wit: beginning at a point
oil the Mississippi river, where the northern line
of Lot No. 13, in Square No. 4, of a pit of lots
laid ofi by Joseph Castieman, fbr David S. Sex.-
ton, and recorded in 1ook pages 143, 144,
of records of the probate court of Warren
county, strikes the said river, thence running by
the northern lines of said Lot 13, and of Lots
60, 61, 62, 63, 64, 65, 66, and 67, on said plat,
and with the saime course continued until it shall
intersect a northern extension of the east boun-
dary line of section nineteen, of tiwnsihip 16,
range .3 east, thence in a southern direction by
said line, -until the same intersects the southern.

the same to a point where the west line of Cher-
ry street extended, will intersect the same;
thence south 63 1-2 degrees, west 83 chains and
80 links, to a point on the lands of the estate of
Anthony Glass, deceased; on the west side of
the Warrenton road, at a stake near a large red
oak; thence magnetic west to the Mississippi
river; thence up the same, with its meanders, to
the place of beginning', and including within the
said limits as far as the state boundary on the
