the same; that they may levy a tax in each and
every year, of a sum not exceeding twenty-five
cents, on each hundred dollars' worth of property,
on all persons and property within the limits of
the said town, and the collection of such tax,
may be, by warrant, or by distress and sale of
the goods and chattels, of the person chargeable
therewith.
§ 6. And be it further enacted, That the select- Board to
