and parts of acts coming within the purview and
meaning of this act, be, and the same are hereby
repealed; and this act shall go into operation and
be in full force and effect immediately on its passage
and its being accepted by the directors of the Plan,

AIN ACT making certain appropriations therein named,
Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the Legislture q the
State (fMississippi, That the following sumS be
allowed and paid out of any money in the State
Treasury not otherwise appropriated:
To Lewis Dent, the sum of forty-four dollars, for
eleven days services as assistant clerk to the late
Convention of this State.
To Jacob Duckworth, the sum of two hundred
and ten dollars and twenty-five cents, for seventy
days' services and expenses incurred in pursuing,
apprehending and prosecuting a certain negro man
(slave) naied Henry, for the crime of murder.
Specifia  To 'Thomas Rogers, the sum of fifty dollars, be-
ations. ing the amount ofa fine imposedon him by the Cir-

in the year 1829.
