CHAP. LXXXII.
AN ACT, for the relief of John Brice.
Sec. I. Be it enacted by the Senate and House
of Representatives of the State of Mississippi,
in -General.dssenmbly convened, That the county
and probate court of Wilkinson county, be autho-
rized to audit and allow to John Brice, such sum
as it may deem just and reasonable, not exceeling
the suini of one hundred and thirteen dollars and
ninety seven cents, in full for the negro, George,
who was sold as a runaway slave, and who after-
wards Fecovered his freedom under the name of
Henry, by judgment of the circuit court of said
county, May term, 1826; which sum so allowed,
shall be paid out cf any money in the county trea-
sury of Wilkinson county, not otherwise appro-
priated.
