CHAP. LXXIV.
AN ACT, to reipeal the fifteenth section of the act, entitled  an
act, further to extend relief to debtors, passed 23d day of Jaiuary
1824, and for other purposes.
Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and Houys
of Representatives of the State of .Mississippi,
Iepealing in General .ssembly covened, That the fifteenth
clause,  section of the above recited act be, and the same is
hereby repealed.
Sec. 2. Ind be it further enacted, That it
shall be the dtity of the sheriff, or other ofilcer,
serving an execution on slaves or other persohal
property, if the person whose property is Ievied
on, or who may have delivered up property in
discharge of his body, will give sufilcient security,
