CHAP. LXVI.
AN ACT, making appropriations to certain persons there-.
in named.
Be it enactedi by the Senate and House of Repre-
sentatives of the state of .Mississippi in General .1s-
sembly convened, That the following claims be
allowed, and paid out of any money in the state
treasury, not otherwise appropriated, to wit:
To Peter Isler. fifty-five dollars for printing
$jnecfic  Governor's M'lessage. rules and joint rules, and
na. bill to prevent the importation of slaves, at the
present session.
To.Charles C. Slocumb, the sum of forty-nine
dollars and ninety cents. for sustenance furnikh-
ed Tramnell Prior, committing and releasing
same, and e~quveying said prisoner to Amite.

To George Robinson. for his attendance, and
the attendance of Joseph H amniack, in a pro-
secution: -The Mississippi Territory against
Eli Cotton, the sum of fourteen dollars.
To John A. GrimWall, the sum of thirty dol-
lars for prepaiing index, and marginal notes. to
the acts of last session of the General. Assem-
bly.
To Dillard Collins, the sum of five hundred-
dollars, for bringing seven hundred and twenty
copies of the lievised Code to Jackson, and for
distributing seven hundred and eighty copies
of the said Revised Code.
To Peter A. Vandorn.the sum of one hundred
and seveniy-ihree dollars and fifty cents, for
copying .Journal of the House of Riepresenta-
livCs of the present session, for time employed
