AN ACT
Authorizing the persons theren named to
lay of a Town in Green County, which
is the site of justice Of said county.
SEc. 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and
House of Representatives of the State of
.7Vlississippi in general assembly convened,
eommission- That R  . Gilmer, Absolam Horger
mss oand George B. Dameron, be, and they
are hereby authorized to lay off a town
on their tract of land, in Green county,
on which is the site of justice of said
county, which town shall be called and
known by the name of Greensborough.
SEc. 2. And be it further enacted, That
To have a it shall be the duty of the proprietors,
eap made... to cause a correct map to be made of
the said town, and have the same re-
corded in the clerk's office of said
county.
