AN ACT
To raise a Revenue.
stee. 1. Be it enacted 62; the Legilathya
Chncl and louse of Representatives of the
ANrsiss/ppi Territory in general assem/diy
sonvened, That a tax for the sums, and its
the manner hereinafter mentioned shall he
raised in each and every year and paid into
the' public treasury for the use of said terris
torv.
Sec. 2. And e itflerther enacted, That
the sum of twenty cents for every hundred
d liars value be paid on all land lying with.
