AN ACT
Loncerning Slaves brought into this Terri.
tory contrary to the laws of the Unitea
States.
Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the Legislative
Council and House of Representatives of the
.11'ssissippi Territory n General Assembly
convened, That any slave or slaves brought P
or imported into this territory contrary to the ing the--
laws of the United States in such case made importa-'
