The second section of article first of the act entitled an act to incorporate the city of California, approved November 14th, 1857, is hereby amended to read as follows: The boundary of the corporate limits of the city of California shall be as follows: Commencing sixteen rods north of the north-east corner of the south-east quarter of section twenty-one, township forty-five (45), range fifteen (15), thence west eighty-one (81) rods, thence south seventy rods, thence west twenty (20) rods, thence south one hundred and forty-eight (148) rods, thence west twenty (20) rods, thence south sixty-seven (67) rods, thence east one hundred and twenty-one (121) rods to the section line between section twenty-seven and twenty-eight, thence north on the section line to the place of beginning. § 2. All acts and parts of acts inconsistent with this act are hereby repealed. This act to be in force from its passage. Approved February 19th, 1806. TOWNS AND CITIES: CALIFORNIA.
