§ 2. In case either of said counties has sold swamp and overflowed
land beyond the boundary hereby established, such county shall refund
to the purchaser the purchase money.
§ 3. All acts and parts of acts in conflict with this act are hereby
repealed.
This act to take effect and be in force from and after its passage.

Be it enacted by the General dssembly of the State of Mlissouri, as

§ 1. It is hereby made the duty of the county courts of Cape Girardeau
and Madison counties hereafter to appropriate, annually, out of any
moneys in the treasury of said counties not otherwise appropriated, the
sum of twenty-five dollars for the education of each child between the ages
of eight and twenty years, whose father may have been killed or died
while in active service in the army of the United States or in the service
of the Provisional Government of this State.
§ 2. The county courts of said counties shall take all measures and
make all orders necessary to carry into effect the foregoing provision.
§ 3. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its pas-
sage.
