JOINT RESOLUTIONS requiring the Quarter-Master-General to perform certain duties.
Resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring there-
in, as follows:
That the Quarter-Master-General be, and is hereby authorized to remove
the arms and military equipments and munitions of the State, to the basement
room in the Capitol immediately beneath the Auditor office, and to use said
basement room exclusively for the storage of the public property in his
charge, until the same shall be transferred to the State Arsenal.

JOINT RESOLUTION to appoint Commissioners.
Resolved  by the House of    Representatives, the Senate concurring
therein:
That Waldo P. Johnson. John D. Coalter, A. W. Doniphan, Harrison
Hough and A. H. Buckner, be appointed as Commissioners on the part of
the State of Missouri, to meet Commissioners from Virginia and other
States in Convention at Washington City on the 4th of February, 1861, to
endeavor to agree upon some plan of adjustment of existing difficulties, so
as to preserve or reconstruct the Union of these States, and secure the honor
and equal rights of the slaveholding States ; said Commissioners shall al-
ways be under the control of the General Assembly, except when the State
Convention shall be in session, during which time they shall be under the
control of the Convention.
Approved February, 1, 1861.
Resolved by the Senate, the House of Representatives concurring:
That the Auditor be required to draw his warrant in favor of Geo. C.
