ceedings in the premises to the court, which said report shall be accompanied
by the certificate of appraisement and by the affidavit of said administratrix,
that she did not directly or indirectly purchase said lands or any part thereof.
§ 5. Said real estate shall not be sold for less than three-fourths of its
appraised value, nor shall the administratrix become the purchaser thereof.
§ 6. No sale of said land made by virtue of any order of said court,
shall be valid to pass the title to the same, until such shall have been approved
by the cturt.
§ 7. After such sale shall have been approved by the court, and the pur-
chase money fully paid, the said administratrix shad execute, acknowledge
and deliver to the purchaser a deed for the land so purchased, conveying all
the right, title and interest of the said Adolph Papin at the time of his death
in.and to the same.
( 8. The money arising from such sale shall be accounted for by the
administratrix, and distributed by the court to the children of the deceased,
in the same manner as other moneys coming to the hands of the administra-
trix.
§ 9. The County Court, upon the hearing and determination of the pe-
tition, shall set apart and assign to the widow, (administratrix,) absolutely
if she elects, such part of the money arising from such sale, as shall be
equal to the Iresent worth of her interest in said real estate.
This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage; and
the Secretary of State shall, immediately upon the approval of this act, for-
ward a certified copy to the Clerk of the County Court of Ste. Genevieve
county.

Be it enacted by the General dssembly of the State of Missouri, a
follows :
§ 1. That Jackson B. McFerrin, of Cass county, guardian of the minor
heirs of John 0. McFerrin, deceased, is hereby authorized to sell a certain
slave, to wit: Ellick, the property of said minors.
§ 2. Before said guardian shall proceed to sell said slave, he shall cause
the same to be appraised by three disinterested househlders of the county of
Cass. and said slave shall tint be sold for less than the appraised value.
§ 3. The said guardian may sell said slave at public or private sale, for
cash, or on a credit, as he may deem best for the interest of said wards.
§ 4. Before any sale made by said guardian shall be concluded, he shall
