Be it enacted by the General dssembly of the State of Missouri, as
follows:
§ 1. The administrator of the estate of G. F. Saltonstall, deceased,
late of the county of Howard, and State of Missouri, is authorized and
empowered to invest in the stock of any of the banks in the State of Mis-
souri all of the money mentioned in the fourth clause of the will of the said
G. F. Saltonstall.
§ 2. The said administrator is authorized and empowered to sell any
part or all of the bank stock mentioned in the fourth clause of the aforesaid
will, and to reinvest the proceeds in the stock of any of the banks in the
State of Missouri.
§ 3. The guardians or curators of the minor heirs of the said deceased
are authorized and empowered to invest the money of their wards in accor-
dance with the provisions of the first and second sections of this act.
This act to take effect and be in force from its passage.

AN ACT for the Benefit of the Heirs of William May, deceased, late of Pettis County.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Missouri, as
follows :
§ 1. The County Court of Pettis county is hereby authorized, upon the
petition of the administrator and heirs of William May, deceased, late of
Pettis county, to appoint some suitable person to sell and convey the slaves
belonging to said estate ; said sale to be public or private as said court shall
direct: Provided, The County Court shall be satisfied that such sale shall
be for the advantage of the legal heirs to said estate.
§ 2. The County Court shall appoint a trustee to loan the money arising
from the sale of said slaves, for the benefit of the legal heirs of said Wil-
liam May, until they shall attain the age of twenty-one years ; and said trus-
tee shall give bond and security, to be approved by the court, in such sum
as the court shall direct.
This act to take effect and be in force from and after its passage.

Be it enacted by the General dssembly of the State of Missouri, as
follows :
