Be it enacted by the General ./ssembly of the State of Missouri, as
follows :
§ 1. That the guardian or guardians of the minor heirs of the estate of
Samuel Sayers, deceased, shall have authority, if he or they shall think
proper to do so, to permit persons living in thc counties of Audrain and
Montgomery, to hire the slaves belonging respectively to the said heirs, in
the same manner and with like effect as though they lived in the county of
Callaway.
This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
Approved March 5, 1859.
AN ACT for the benefit of the Heirs of Dillon Bales, decensed, late of Andrew county.
William Heren, Guardian and Curator of the Minor Heirs of Dillon Bales, deccased,
authorized to sell certain Real Estate.
§  1. Guardian authorized to rell real estate of minors; descriptionof real estate tobhesold
said real estate to  be ap  raised  before sale ; not to  be Yold for less than  appraised
value; guardianm to make report to court transacting probate business; said court Uay
or may not approve sale.
Be it enacted by the General .Issembly of the State of Missouri, as
follows :
1 1. That William Heren, guardian and curator of Aaron Bales, Mary
E. Bales, and Dillon Bales, jr., minor children and heirs at law of Dillon
Bales, and Eunice Bales, his wife, both deceased, late of Andrew county,
Missouri, be, and he is hereby, authorized to sell the following described
real estate, (belonging to the said minor heirs of the said Dillon Bales, and
Eunice Bales, his wife, both deceased,) lying and being in the county of
Harrison, and State of Missouri, to wit: The north-east quarter of the south-
east quarter of section niumber six, in township number sixty-two, range
twenty-six ; also the north-west (iarter of the south-west quarter, section
number five, township sixty-two, of range twenty-six ; also live acres off of
the north-east quarter of the south-west quarter of section number five, of
township'number sixty-two, of! range twenty-six  the above described lots
containing in all eighty-five acres; said lands to be sold at public or private
sale, and upon such terms as may be deoned most advantageous to said minor
heirs ; and to convey to the purclser all the right, title, and interest of said
minor heirs in and to the said lands above describe(] ; said lands to be ap-
praised under oath by three discreet and disinterested householders of Harri-
son county, Missouri, all to be done under the authority and supervision of
the court having probate jurisdiction for the said county of Harrison. Said
lands shall not be sold by authority of this act for less than its appraised
value ; the whole proceedings of which the said William Ileren shall report
to the said court of Harrison county, having probate jurisdiction, within six
days after the sale thereof, and said court may affirm or reject said sale.
This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
