the school district in which said- Bell rosfoos, in.said county, for school
purposes, upon his filing a petition to that effect with the School Com-
missioner of said county.
§ 2. - All acts inconsistent with the foregoing act are hereby repealed.
This act to take effect from and after its passage.

AN ACT authorizing William Chrisman, as Commissioner, to stll a certain slae.
* 1. Commissioner empowered to sell a slave.  * 2. Proceeds of sale, how disposed of.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Missouri, as followa:
§ 1.- That William Chrisman, of Jackson county, Missouri, admin-
istrator of the estate of Abner Cunningham, deceased, late of said county,
is hereby [appointed] a Commissioner, and is authorized and empowered, by
and with the advice and consent of the widow of said decedent, to sell and
dispose of a certain negro man slave, named Rees, at private or public sale.
I § 2.- The proceeds of said sale shall be vested in, and be the property
of, said widow Pamelia Cunningham for and during her natural life, and,
at her decease, shall descend, according to law, to the heirs of her late
husband.
This act to take effect from and after its passage.

AN ACT to authorize William C. Sullivan to sell certain lands.
( 1. Certain real estate may be sold.  |  * 2. Procecds, how to be accounted for.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of lis8ouri, as follows:
§ 1.-That William 0. Sullivan, of Clark county, Missouri, be, and
he is hereby, authorized and empowered to sell and convey, by deed, all
the right, title and interest of [which] his daughter, Julia Ann Sullivan, now
deceased, had in and to the south-east quarter of the south-west quarter, sec-
tion twenty-four, township sixty-six and range eight west, which said deed
shall convey a good and clar title.
§ ? - The said William 0. Sullivan shall be held to be a trustee, as
to the purchase money for said land, for the heirs or next of kin of the
said Julia Ann Sullivan, and shall account for the same before the County
Court in and for Clark county, Missouri, in the same manner as if he were
an administrator.
This act to be in force from its passage.
