§ 1. That Bela M. Hughes, ourator of the estate of Paul Coburn and
William B. Richardson, minors and residents of Buchanan county, Mis-
souri, be and lie is hereby authorized to sell and convoy any lands of the
said minors in the state of Illinois; provided, that he shall account for the
funds received for any such lands, as curator of said estates, under the
law of this state.
This act to take effect from and after its passage.

AN ACT to authorize the Guardian of Oscar L. Peak, a minor, to sell certain lands in
Howard county, and for other purposes.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Missouri, as follows:
§ 1. That Rouben T. Peak, of the state of Iowa, guardian and father
of Oscar L. Peak, a minor, and grand son of Stebbins Johnson, be and
he is hereby authorized to grant, bargain, sell and convey any and all
interest in and to any real estate to which said Oscar L. Peak may be
entitled as heir at law of Stebbins Johnson, deceased, late of Howard
county, Missouri.
§ 2. That said Reuben T. Peak shall cause said real estate to be
appraised by three disinterested appraisers, to be appointed by the clerk
of the county court of Howard county, which appraisers shall be sworn
faithfully and impartially to discharge their duty as such appraisers; and
no sale of said real estate shall be made by said guardian at less than
three-fourths of its appraised value.  *
§ 3. That said Reuben T. Peak is also authorized to collect and receipt
for any and all moneys which may be due or owing to him, or may here-
after become due or owing to him, as his distributive share of the personal
estate of said Stebbins Johnson deceased.
§ 4. That all money received or collected by said Reuben T. Peak,
either from the proceeds of the sale of real estate, or from the personal
estate of said Stobbins Johnson, be by him applied to the expense of
education and maintenance of his ward, Oscar L. Peak.
This act to take efrect from and after its passage.
