sai county; said bonds shall bear interest at such rate as said court
shall determine, and shall state the time, terms and amount of the loan,
and shall be signed by the presiding justice of the county court of said
county, countersigned by tho clerk and shall be under the seal of the
court.
§ 3. The county court of Gentry county is further authorized, in the
name of said county to borrow the school funds belonging to the several
townships in said county, to be appropriated and applied as is provided
in the first section of this act.
§ 4. The county court of said county, upon borrowing said school
funds, shall cause the bonds of the county to be executed payable to
the state of Missouri, for the use and benefit of the inhabitants of each
township to which it belongs; said bonds shall bear interest at the
highest rate that is provided by law, and shall state the time, terms and
amount of the loan, and shall te signed by the presid ing justice of the
county court of said county, countersigned by the clerk and attested
by the seal of the court, and shall be delivered to the treasurer of said
county who shall be charged therewith, and the clerk shall keep full
and fair accounts of all such bonds.
§ 5. The treasurer of the county shall make a settlement with the
county court of said county at least once in each year, and receive all
the interest due on the bonds that may come into his possession under
the provisions of this act, in the same manner that he would do, wer.
the above named funds loaned to individuals, and he shall be governed
in the disposition he may make of the interest, by him received of said
county, by the law at present in force upon that subject.
§ 6. The county court of Gentry county shall have power to levy a
special tax for the purpose of paying the interest on the bonds herein
provided for, and for discharging the loan when they may think the in-
terest of the county shall require it.
This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.

AN ACT to authorize the county court of Andrew county to loan school money for a term

Be it enacted by the generalassembly of the State of Missouri, asfollows:
§ 1. That the county court of Andrew county be and is hereby au-
thorized to loan any school money for a term less or more than one
year, any law to the contrary notwithstanding.
This act to be in force from and after its passage.
