AN ACT for the relief of Nancy Lay.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Missouri, as follows.
§ 1. Nancy leay of Adair county, is hereby authorized and empowered to
collect all the debts, dues, and demands, owing to the estate of her late hus-
band Jolnl Lay, ani for that purpose, she is hereby clothed withi the same nu-
thourity and power to act and transact all the bu1inessm of said eitate, in the same
iauner and with 1Ike cllect, as if she had taken out letters of ad ministr-
tioli.
This act to be in force from and after its passage.

§ 1. Pre-enption rightq, proof of established. § 3. Register and Receiver to decide on proof.

De it enacted by th General Assrnibly of the State of .issouri, as fllows:
4 1. George Gibson nna Anderson Neil, of Buchanan county, are hereby
autliorized to make proof or their respective rights or pre-emption, to the north.

or before the third Monday in November, eighteen hundred and forty-
feven.

force, in regi I to the selection and sale of the lands granted to this State, by

§ 3. The Rcgister and lieceiver of thL State Land Ollilce, at Savannah, shall
reccive and hear said proof, anil determine thereon, in the manlier prescribed
