curity, to be approved by such administrator, to secure the payment of the
purchase money.
§ 5. Upon payment of the purchase money, and all interest due thereon,
said administrator shall make a deed conveying to the purchaser all the right
and title which the said Jacob Clem had to such land at the time of his
death, and such deed shall be acknowledged and recorded as other deeds
for the conveyance of land.
This act to take effect from and after its passage.

AN ACT for the benefit of Isaac Matson.
He it enacted by the General Assembly of the Stale of Missouri, as follows:
§ 1. Isaac C. Matson, of Shelby county, is hereby authorized to vend
merchiandize and groceries, at any one place in said county, without taking
out a license therefor, on a capital not exceeding seven hundred dollars.
This act shall be ini force fron and after its passage.

1Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Slate of Milissouri, as Judlows:
§ 1. The sum tof one huired and fifty-five dollars and ninety-two cents be
allowed to George 11. C. Melody, as a full compensation for the balance due
hin for the clothing, boar ding and keeping, in the jail of St. Louis conty,
in the year eighteen hiunaldred and forty-three, Edward Elsey and William
Anderson, two runaway slaves.
[2.]  The Auditor of Public Accounts be and lie is hereby authorized
and eoquired to draw his warrant on the Strate Treasiry, in favor of George
1. C. Mody, for the above sun, to be paid out of any money in the Trea-
stury not otherwise appropiiated.
