FLOUR.
AJVN ACT to regulate the inspection offlour in thecity of St. Louis.
SECTION                              SECTION
No flour shall be inspected in St. Louis, ex-  Repeal of laws inconsistent with this act. -  I

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of .Missoori, as follows:
4 1 Hereafter the corporate authorities of the city of St. Louis shall not,
by ordinance, compel any person to have the flour owned by such person, or
his agent, to have the same inspected, unless the same be at the request of the
owner or agent thereof, or at the request of the purchaser; and in all cases,
where any flour shall be inspected, it shall be at the expense of the person who
may desire such inspection.
§ 2. All laws and parts of laws and' ordinances, repugnant to or incon-
sistent with th'e provisions of this act, are hereby repealed.
This act to take effect from and after its passage.

FOUNDLING.
AN ACT to change and fix the name of a foundling heretofore known by the
#              name of Thuaddeus.
A certain foundling authorised to receive the name of Thhddous Franklin.
WHEREAS, the person,heretofore known by the name of Thaddeus, residing
in St. Charles county, was found, when an infant, by the side of the public
highway, in Franklin county, Virginia, and has never been able to discover
who are his parents, fnd therefbre has been known by the name of' Thad-
dens, without any addition thereto, and whereas it is important that he should
receive a name by which he should be known in law and inequity.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of .lisscuri, as follows:
4 1. That the foundling, heretofore known by the name of Thaddeus, resi-
ding in the county of St. Charles, is hereby authorised to receive the name of
Thaddeus Franklin, and he shall hereaifter be known by said name in law and
equity.
This act to take effect from and after its passage.
