AN ACT for the reliefof William Seymore, a free negro  Passed
in Talbot county.              Mar. 10,1854,
WHEnEAS, William Seymore a free nogro- came from Preamble,
the Eastern shore of Virginia, in the year eighteen
hundred and foriy-six, in the employment, of a cap.
in of a vessel, o\ned then and commanded by
said owner, engaged in running wood from Talbot
county for some years ; and whereas, said free negro
after the 'owner and commander of said vessel quit
running her from that county, remained in Talbot
county, and has been residing there ever since en-
gaged in the constant service of residents of said

free negro is certified to by number of respectable cit-
