Empowered to , CTIO  1. Be if enacted bY. the General A/lssembly, of
collect.    iaruiland, rhat William D'elingei, former collector of,
State taxes for the year eighteen hundred and forty-one,,
and: State and county, taxes for eighteen hundred and
forty-tivo, in Washington county, be and he is hereby,
autfhorised to collect any and all taxes or balances of
taxes due to him and now. remaining. unpaid for the sev-
erai years.in which he was collector as aforesaid in said
couniy, in the same manner and with the same privi-
legesand pow ers he eould or might have done within
the time limited by law.
I force.   .  SEc. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effectaind be in force from the date of its passage.
SEc. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall con-
tinu'e and be in force until the first day of May, eigh-
teen hundred and forty-nine.
