Pow,1Mar.21,15 Jin act to dllow Roderick MckGregor, of Prince George't,
County, to bring into this State, a negro rnw therein.

Be it enacted by the Gencrcl Ufsscnbly pf Jlaryland, That
it shall and may be lawful for Roderik McGiegor, of
Prince George's county, to bring into this 6tate, his negro
mon William: Provided, the said Roderic McGrcgor, shall
within thirty days after he shall bring into this State, the
said negro man William, make afidavit that said negro
man William is a slave for life, and shall deposit said allida.
vit with the clerk of Prince George's county court, to be
Prai,      by him recorded, and provided, the said McG rego'r, shall
pay within thirty days after lie shall bring the said negro
man into this State, to the clerk of Prince George's county
court, the sum of fifteen dollars, to be by him naid over to
the Treasurer of the Western Shore, for the use and bcne-'
fit of the colonization society.
CHAPTER 316.

*of .sundry Insolvent Debtors, passed at iNovcnibcr Session,
dighteen hundred and five.
Preamble      WHEREAS, since the passage of the original act to which
this is a supplement, the duties' of the justices of the Or-
phhans court have been greitly multiplied, so f'ar as they
appertain to the release of insolvent dlbtors, and the com-
peu-ation is now greatly inadccjnate to the services rendered,
Therefore,
Fee ror ordering  Be it enacted by the General .A7sscmbly oJ .lXarrtand, That
in all cases hereafter where a discharge is given by any jus-
t'ce of the Orphans' court to any insolvent debtor, anul it
shall be necessary for said justice to pass an order for the
sale of the effects of such i'nsolvent, and to fix fhe per cen-
tage of the trustee, he shall be allowed the sum of two dol.

passed, which sum shall be credited to the trustee in mak-
ing his distribution as part of the expenses accruing in set
