Section 1. Be it enacted by the General .Isenibly of Ma. Ti-eetend
ryland, That the time prescribed by the act of eighteen
hundred and thirty tvo, chapter three hindred a id sixteen,
for paying into the Treasury the tax directed to be levied by
the nct of eighteen hundred and thirty one, chapter two
hundred and eighty ohe, entitled, an act reliting to the peo-
ple of color in this State, b, for the year eighteen hundred
and thirty five, extended to the first day of July, eghteeh
hundred and thirty six.d                Jy,
Sec. 2. Jhad be it enacted, That the like tax to lie hereafter r per
levied for every future year, shall be paid into the Treasury
on or before the first day of July, in the year uidceeding
the year for which 't shall have been levied.
