e it enactd       Conner, of Kent county.                  6 -, 1823.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mharyuand, That the levy Levy $30.
court of Kent county be, and they are hereby authorised and em.
powered to levy on the assessable iroperty of said county, so long as
they shall see cause, a sum of money not exceeding thirty dollars,
for the support and maintenance of iarth- Conner, the idiot daugh-
ter o. James Conner, of said county, and that tile same when so levied
shall be collected by the collector of said county, and by him paid
annually to the said James Conner or to his order.

to remove and bring into this state, his negro man, James, in the
same manneras he might or could have done at the time of his own
removal into this state, any faw to the contrary thereof in anywise

manner as' he by law would have been compelle- to do, had he have
brought the said negro. into this state, within one year after his

Ain act for the relief of the Poor of Prince-George's County, bein 7, 1823.
SVupplementary to the act entitled, An actjor the relief of the poor
of the sejeral counties in this state.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Aaryland, That
the office of the present trustees of the poor for Prince George's
county, shall cease and be at an end on the first Monday of June
next, and that the appointment of trustees of the poor of said coun-
ty front and after the first Monday in April next, be vested in the
levy court of said county.                                    Annual'ap-
