of said county, such compensation for his services, as they in their
judgment may deern right, not exceeding two hundred dollars per
annum, and may make such allowance for dieting tho said over-
seer, and his family, as to them may seem just.

Sec. 1. Be it ciacled by the General Jlsscmbl nf JMaryland, That Act repealed
the act, entitled, An act securing to the sheriff of Baltimore coun-
ty the gaol fees of certain insolvent debtors, passed at Decembee
stssion eighteen hundred and sixteen, chapter twenty-nine, he and
the same are hereby repeated from and after the first day of Octo-
ber next.

Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the General Alssembly of .Marylund, That  May remove.

and empowered, to remove and bring into this state a negro wo-
man slave, named Rachel, at any time within one year from the
passage of this act, on his having the said slave duly recorded in
the county court of Caroline, within six months after the said re-
inoval, any law to the contrary notvith3tanding.
