An additional supplement to the act, entitled, An act for tile
Passed JA 22  relieff of the Poor, in the Counties of Somerset and ]or-
cicstr, passed in seventeen hundred and eighty-five, and
the several supplements thereto.
Trustee's al-  Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of .Maryland, That
lowance.   each of the trustees of the poor of Somerset county, for every day
he shall serve in discharge of his duties under the provisions of
the act to which this is a supplement, shall receive the sum of two
dollars, to be levied on the county, and paid to him by the collec-
tor.
CHAPTERt 57.
Passed J. 22 An act authorigin, Henry Casson, of Talbot County, to re-
move certain Negroes into the State of Maryland.
Empowercedto  Sec. 1. Be it creeled by tlhe General Assembly of Oluryland, That
bring slav's  Henry Casson be and he is hereby authorised and empowered, at;
into the tate. any time within two years after the passage of this act, to remdve
and bring into this state negroes Dido and Louisa, and their issue,
and that the removal of said slaves, and their issue, and bringing
them into the state of Maryland, shall not be deemed or taken, or
in any manner be construed or operate, to entitle them to freedom;
Proviso.   Provided, that the said negroes. when removed agreeably to the
provisions of this act, shall be recorded in the records of Talbot
county court, within sixmontlis after their arrivalinto that county.

William Itidding as a Justice of the Peace for Kent County.
Preamble     VjEltntAs, William Reddiing ni' Kent county, was duly coininis-
sioned a justice or' tile peace in and for Kent county, For the follow-
iulg years, namely, one thousand eight hundred and Fourteen, one
thousand eight hundred aid fifteen, and one thousand eight hluk1.
dred and sixteen . and did qualil' and act as such during the years
aforesaid: And whereas, also believing lie was commissioned ajus-
lice oh tihe peace for the county aforesaid for the year one thoi-
sand eight hundred and seventeen, did act as such without having
heen commissioned, hut so soon as he discovered Ihat lie was not
nmiisin~cd a justice or tile peace for the year one thousand eig ht
hundred and sevenleen, did cease to act as such: And whereas
great illconvenielicies will be imposed on sundmy persons, unless
the acts which have been done by the said William Redding as a
justice or the peace for Kent county during the year one thousand
eight hundred andsevcnteeii, are confirmed and made valid, There-
